Dr. Erica Buchberger respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 (“DMCA”).
Submitting a DMCA Notice
If you believe that material made available on this website infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). The notice must include:
Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
Identification of the allegedly infringing material, with sufficient detail to allow it to be located.
Your contact information, including name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notice is accurate.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Failure to comply with all requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) may render the notice ineffective.
Knowingly making a materially false claim of infringement may result in liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). The counter-notification must include:
Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its prior location.
Your contact information, including name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if you reside outside the United States, any judicial district in which the website may be found, and agreeing to accept service of process from the original complainant.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, the material may be restored unless the original complainant files a court action within the time period prescribed by the DMCA.
Knowingly making a materially false counter-notification may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
Repeat Infringement
In appropriate circumstances and where required by law, access to content or users who are repeat infringers may be restricted or terminated.
